Welcome to Rock Hills Church! We are a Bible-based, non-denominational Christian church located in Bowling Green, KY. We are a multi-ethnic and multi-generational church made up of babies and children, students and professionals, singles and married couples. Our Sunday service is casual and friendly with meaningful worship music, relevant teaching from the Bible, and a fun kids’ program.

The beginnings

The vision for Rock Hills Church began to take shape in the fall of 2011 when Bowling Green was highlighted to Steve Dame. After several visits and much prayerful consideration, a diverse group of 39 individuals came together to launch Rock Hills in the fall of 2013.

Our mission is to create a welcoming community where people can encounter Jesus in a transformative way. At Rock Hills, we are deeply committed to the teachings of the Bible and are passionate about making disciples who can then plant vibrant, healthy churches in university cities throughout the Mid-South and beyond.

So Why Are We Called Rock Hills?

In the fall of 2012 Steve was praying and asking Jesus what this new church would be called. During this period of time Psalm 121:1-2 repeatedly stood out.

“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
